Secondary logo

The logo is based on the AEMARK logo, the umbrella brand that brings together all the activities organised by the association. It is therefore based on the typography and the blue and white colours that identify our association. Aspects that associate it with the University of Murcia and the city of Murcia itself are added to the logo, such as the heart, the central symbol of the logo. This heart is presented in the University of Murcia’s corporate red. A secondary logo is derived from the main logo and will be used in more informal pieces. Our logo has a story. What is it that moves us?

There has always been an energy that gives people the strength to keep going. Not to give up or throw in the towel halfway along the way. To look back only to see all that we have achieved up to this point and to look forward to find enough motivation to achieve our goals.
That energy is the one that moved Alfonso X the Wise, who preferred fabrics spun in red and which are a sign of his link with Murcia during his reign. That same energy is what he brought to culture, science and poetry, bringing together researchers, translators and compilers to write his works and share them with those who felt the same as he did. But…

What is this energy we have been talking about?

It is passion.

AEMARK was born and is driven by its passion for teaching and research in marketing, just as Alfonso X the Wise did with culture in our land with the foundation of the General Studies (incipient universities) where masters of the three religions taught, the origin of the University of Murcia. That is why our logo reflects the essence of this history with the wise king and our shared passion for marketing.
Alfonso X the Wise offered his heart to Murcia and it is kept in the Cathedral, by his express wish. AEMARK is that heart dedicated to teaching and research, committed to growth and a great future shared, in this edition of the annual congress, with the AEMARK community.

That heart is also formed by   that represent the synergy between the joint effort and the continuous search for knowledge among our researchers. It is not a mere metaphor, for the emotion is present, showing in the mutual support, trust, respect and solidarity between us. Moreover, these intertwined hands evoke a symbol of understanding, harmony and peace, especially needed in today’s world sadly marked by conflict.
The four fingers of our heart and link are not only part of these clasped hands, but also represent the place where we will welcome you: the four towers of the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Murcia.
Everything that unites and represents us is inside this logo. Shared passion and energy that move us and encourage us to follow a path of commitment and progress in which we will continue to make great contributions.
