Presentation guidelines

Guidelines for presenting papers and work in progress

Here are some general guidelines that may be useful to prepare your presentation:

  1. Try to be in the classroom where the session is going to take place approximately 10 minutes before the start time of the session.
  2. Upload your presentation to your computer. You can download it from the Internet, but it is better to have it available on a USB stick. The rooms will have a projector and a computer with a current version of Microsoft Office, PDF document reader, browser and Internet connection enabled. If any speaker has additional needs, please contact antonio.cuenca@uv.es
  3. Note that the sessions include several presentations. Each presentation should not exceed 15 minutes plus 5 minutes for Q & A.

For more information and suggestions for preparing presentations, please refer to the document that is available on the web in .'Regulations and submission (Recommendations)'.

Guidelines for presenting posters

Here are some general guidelines that may be useful for preparing your poster:

  1. The posters are expected to be displayed in the hall of the School of Economics throughout Thursday, September 8, so that participants have the opportunity to interact with presenters.
  2. Authors should therefore hang the poster as early as possible on Thursday morning. In order to interact with the participants of the Conference, the author responsible for the presentation will try to be next to the poster on Thursday 8, from 4.00 to 5.30 p.m.
  3. The panels to display the posters will be available in the hall, as well as material to hang them.
  4. The poster should not exceed the A0 format (84x120 cm) in vertical orientation.
  5. We recommend the following sizes and fonts:
    • Source: Arial
    • Minimum title size: 36 points
    • Minimum size of section and subsection titles: 30 points
    • Minimum text size: 26 points

For more information and suggestions for preparing presentations, please refer to the document that is available on the web in ‘Regulations and submission (Recommendations)’.
